Common questions

I didn’t get the confirmation email

Check your spam or junk folder for an email from Local Athletics. On the app’s “Check your email” screen, tap Resend email. If you confirmed on another device, go back to the app and tap I’ve confirmed my email.

I forgot my password

If you signed in with Apple or Google, use the same button again. You don’t need a password. If you signed up with email, contact us from that email address and we’ll help you reset it.

My Apple Health numbers show 0

Open the iPhone Settings app, go to Privacy & Security → Health, choose the app and turn on Steps, Active Energy and Workouts. The app only reads this data; it never changes it.

How do I add my workouts to my calendar?

On the Plan tab, tap Export to calendar on the Calendar card. The app adds your workout days to a calendar called “Fitness App” on your phone. With auto-sync on, it keeps them up to date when your plan changes.

How do the AI features use my data?

The plan designer and nutrition designer send your answers to our AI provider to produce a result. The app asks your permission first. You can withdraw it at any time with Profile → Withdraw AI permission. Read more in our privacy policy.

Who can see what I post?

Feed posts are visible only to followers you have approved. Posts in a circle are visible to that circle’s members. Nobody can find you until you choose a feed name. You can block anyone from the menu on their post or comment.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account and everything in it, including photos, logs and posts. It can’t be undone.

Is this medical advice?

No. Plans, targets and feedback are general guidance. Talk to a qualified professional before starting, especially with an injury or health condition.
